2017 Trans-Tasman Junior Series

Five Western Australian juniors were selected to represent Australia at the recent Trans-Tasman Junior Series held at Henderson Squash Club in New Zealand.

Despite Australia being soundly defeated and winning only five of eighteen matches in each of the two ties, our Western Australian contingent can hold their heads up high by being responsible for four of the ten wins.

Oscar Curtis (Under 13 Boys) won both his ties to be one of only three Australians to win twice. South Australian, Alex Haydon (Under 17 Girls) and Queenslander, Hayley Hankinson (Under 15 Girls) being the other two Australians to have dual victories.

Remi Young (Under 15 Boys) and Dylan Classen (Under 13 Boys) were the other Western Australian players to record a win. Jade Woods (Under 17 Girls) and Erin Classen (Under 13 Girls) were our other representatives.
