Rhys Dowling and Jess Turnbull proved too strong for young guns Oscar and Erin, the scores being 3-0: 11-6, 11-2, 11-4 (23m) and 3-0: 11-4, 11-7, 11-3 (26m) respectively.

The 2022 City Tattersalls Club Australian Open continues tomorrow with the second round, starting at 1pm AEDT.
