The 2022 Canberra Open has kicked off at the home of ACT squash – Woden Squash Centre.
Of the 138 players from Australia and around the world that have entered, young superstar Remi Young is carrying the torch for Western Australia. Seeded 14th in the Men’s PSA Satellite, Remi’s first match is tonight at 6pm (AEST) on Court 1 against 19th seed, Scotsman-come-Aussie Robert Palmer.
We checked in with Remi today to see how he was feeling leading up to the event. “I’m feeling a bit nervous because of the strong competition, but excited to play outside of WA again!” he shared.
