The Emu and Kangaroo in the middle of the jersey are icons of Australia and country; their presence symbolises that everyone has the opportunity to become an icon and leave a legacy behind.
The zig zag patterns represent connection to country. There are two zig zag patterns to recognise that people connect to country in different ways. The two patterns merge into one to signify that we are all interconnected.
The footprints around the artwork represent our journey. The camps and meeting places along the boomerangs represent coming together from different places and families and celebrates the traditions and connections we share with the various mobs we meet along the way.
