Our Club of the Month, Miss June, Dampier Squash Club is calling for team nominations for their 33rd FeNaClNG squash tournament to be held from Friday 4th August – Sunday 6th August 2023! ❤️
The format will be similar to previous years with a welcome dinner on Friday night (including their world-famous seafood feast!). 🦐🦀🐟 Matches will be played over Saturday and Sunday, and wrap up with finals matches Sunday afternoon. Presentations and dinner on Sunday evening in the club’s picturesque amphitheatre from 6.00pm will conclude the event.
To keep the tradition going, there will be teams of four players competing, spread across grades A, B, C and D. If you have extras or can’t make a full team, other clubs will no doubt be in the same boat, so the club will help team you up with others!
The registration fee is $90 per player (ie. $360 per team), which includes 3-4 matches per player, two AMAZING dinners and a BRILLIANT weekend. Anyone who’s ever taken part in this tournament will testify to this!! 🙌
For those who have never competed in the FeNaClNg tournament before, there is a park right next door to the courts where you can camp with your tent or swags, free of charge. The squash courts also have ablution facilities that you can freely utilise throughout the weekend.
All nominations need to be submitted via the entry form to fenaclngsquash@gmail.com by no later than 16 July 2023. This is to allow the draw to be put together and distributed in a timely manner.
