With wisdom FAR beyond her 18 years, Josie Jones is the kind of young person that every Club needs. She is passionate about the sport, a fantastic role model, and actively involved in all aspects of the club, and state association. Josie is the type of ambassador that our sport needs for all girls and women.
What has Josie been up to over the past couple of years?
- Performing duties as the Blue Gum Secretary, Junior Coordinator and Social Media Manager, providing valuable input to the club from a youth perspective.
- Co-manager of the South Zone team for the Junior State Championships’ teams event.
- Level 1 Coach running the Blue Gum club development squad AND coaching in the club junior program.
- Competing in pennants, tournaments, and representing Western Australia on the national stage.
- Level 1 Official running tournaments almost single-handedly.
- Being an all-round positive, engaging and friendly young person, who is supportive of others, and loves the game of squash.
