‘Country Week’ is the major squash event for WA country players. Men and women drive and fly to Perth from all over the state to participate as graded teams. No other event gives a better opportunity for country players to join together to experience a wider level of competition than is normally possible.
This year’s Country Week theme is the mining industry, which many of us rely on for either a direct or indirect source of income. Mining contributes BILLIONS of dollars to Australia’s economy and creates thousands of jobs each year, as well as produces raw materials for key industries like construction.
