At the recent Squash Australia Awards night (22 June) WA Squash Juniors Greg Chan (currently training at Squash Australia) and Oscar Curtis along with Qld Ethan Eyles were in contention for the Commonwealth Games
Association Award for Junior Male Athlete of the Year.
This was judged upon: results at National level events and WSF junior ranking events, results at local and state title events, rate of improvement throughout the judging year and actions on court – courteous and polite. This award was 25% public vote and 75% High Performance Working Group vote.
Greg Chan was voted the winner with presentations by Ben Houston from the Commonwealth Games Association.
