
WA’s Remi Young won his first match last night in a super close five-setter against Robert Palmer.ย The scores were 8-11, 11-5, 17-15, 6-11, 11-9.ย Remi shared, “I was really happy to get this win. It wasnโt my strongest performance but I managed to pull through when it mattered.ย I made a bit of a comeback in the 5th from 9-3 so I’m stoked with the result.”
Remi fought hard in his second match this morning against 3rd seed, Dubai’s Sandeep Ramachandran who proved too tough to beat.ย The scores were 11-5, 11-8, 11-7.
