Busselton Squash Club will again host its 5th annual Invitational Tournament at the Sebel Resort Busselton this weekend, 28-30 October 2022.
An Australian record was set at last year’s tournament, with 72 players across two courts, but Busselton Squash Club have decided to go even further… 80 players will compete in 120 matches in 48 hours across only two courts. Epic effort guys!
40% of tournament entrants are again female which ties back to the Busselton Squash Club’s strategy around increasing female participation. The tournament has also attracted vast representation from across the state; with nine country and five metro clubs sending some of their very best along.
Busselton Squash Club President, squash advocate and all-round legend Ryan Callegari shared an exciting update with us. “The squash club is currently negotiating with the City of Busselton for a new permanent home. The facility will ensure everyone will get a chance to play in Busselton for many years to come”.
